Cultivate richer relationships; the noblest thing you can do is to give to others. Start focusing on your higher purpose.
The Ultimate Purpose of Life
When all is said and done, no matter what you have achieved or what fortunes you have amassed, the quality of your life will come down to the quality of your contribution.
The fresh yellow roses remind you of an ancient Chinese proverb, “a little bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses”. The meaning is clear – when you work to improve the lives of others, you indirectly elevate your own life in the process. When you take care to practise random acts of kindness daily, your own life becomes far richer and more meaningful. We need to change our worldly perception, from seeing ourselves purely as individuals to being as part of a collective. We enter the world with nothing and we are destined to leave with nothing. This being the case, then our real purpose must be to contribute to society in a meaningful way.
Mediate each morning on the good you will do for others during your day. It may take the form of words of praise to those who least expect it, small tokens of affection to family members for no reason at all, all add up to a much more wonderful way to live.
Cultivate richer relationships. Friends add humour, beauty and fascination to life. A person with three solid friends is very wealthy indeed. Friends make you smile, keep you humble and are there to help you whenever you are down.
